Steve Lee President of Star Studios Las Vegas, Managing Director of Themeshots Leisure LTD and Star Studios LTD in the UK.

Steve came to Vegas three years ago to expand his current portfolio of business activities in the UK and to live somewhere sunny and warm (hot) but he still finds the time to go back to the UK at least seven times a year to oversee his companies in the UK.

From a farming background Steve went after his passion of photography at the age of 17 working on the farm during the day and by night labouring in the darkroom learning his trade which incidentally has all changed now with the Digital age but those early days were a great learning curve.

Educated at the University Of Life with full honors! Steve opened his first studio in 1984, then three more within a year providing the usual wedding and portrait stuff. But wanting more of a challenge, moved into commercial photography shooting for companies such as Bovis Construction, Marlboro, and Easy Jeans to name but a few.

In 1989 Steve became a feature writer for an award winning British newspaper reporting about entertainment and interviewing and photographing some famous celebrities from TV, Stage and Screen, people such as Bruce Springsteen, Cliff Richard, Take That, U2, Def Leopard, Rod Stewart the list is endless.

In 1993 Steve set up Themeshots Leisure LTD a company that supplies photographic services for tourist Hot spots with a base at the World Famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach voted one of the best theme parks in the World. Themeshots supply services to Major Themeparks and holiday centers in Europe and to Cruise ships around the World, so Las Vegas was a natural progression to set up shop in the entertainment capital of the World.

In the last 2 years Star Studios Las Vegas have photographed some famous Vegas celebrities and produced some interesting videos, our work can be seen on Billboards and buses onlong the strip.

The Future for Star Studios is a brand new website that will be one of the most interesting cutting edge websites on the market today, this website currently in the build stage will be launched in early 2008 followed by an official opening of Star Studios Las Vegas, so keep an eye on UKLV for an invite.
