Samantha Ratcliffe-D’Arrigo President of Straighten Up! Professional Organizing

Samantha Ratcliffe-D’Arrigo is originally from Sheffield in the UK and has been a Henderson resident since 1998. She is the president of Straighten Up! Professional Organizing and Vegas Rock Dog ™.

Samantha’s professional career started in theatre at the age of fifteen. A graduate of Constance Grants School of the performing arts, Samantha taught dance, choreographed, shows, and then toured extensively within Europe and Asia. By the age of nineteen she had formed her own production company specializing in dance productions exclusively for a Hong Kong agency. Through choreography, music selection, costumes design, and company management, Samantha honed her organizational skills. After taking her production shows to Asia and then later to Spain she was then offered the opportunity to work in the cruise line industry. While working in the production shows she met her husband a noted producer and musician in Las Vegas.

The couple moved to Nashville and later to Henderson for new and exciting career opportunities. With a flair for management and organization Samantha landed a coveted management position for the prestigious Canyon Ranch Spa.

During her time at Canyon Ranch Samantha was working on a new venture where she created one of her dream companies. She fashioned a niche business that was unique to Las Vegas. Straighten Up! Professional Organizing became an immense success. Samantha’s clientele is an eclectic mix of celebrities, businesses owners, entrepreneurs, politicians and corporations. As a professional organizer and member of National Association of Professional Organizers Samantha has had the opportunity to be involved in the organization of gifting for celebrity events. Samantha helps businesses and individuals streamline their operations, manage time, lower expenses, and greatly improve their overall efficiency.

So we all know the slogan “What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas” yet for Samantha’s second company what she created in Vegas went to Hollywood and the dogs. Along with her husband they created Vegas Rock Dog™, a line of rock ‘n’ roll clothes and accessories for hip dogs and humans. Shortly after their launch in 2006 they were featured in the Emmy Awards gift bag where their designs landed in the hands of celebrities and TV executives. That was the defining moment when Vegas Rock Dog ™ landed on the map of what is to be known the hippest gear for you and your dog to be seen in. Hot on the heels of the Emmy Awards was an invite to gift celebrities and musicians at the 2006 Billboard Awards at the MGM in Las Vegas. They were one of only ten companies selected to be in the celebrity gift bag winning hands down the approval of Fox TV Executives. She has a great love for music, fashion, Vegas, and dogs. This was how the Vegas Rock Dog™ brand was born. Modeling her business plans after the great Sir Richard Branson Samantha continues to bring a fresh new spin to business in Las Vegas. She says “If it’s not fun it’s not worth doing!”
